Pure Texas Honey Crafted with Care – Where the Bees' Needs Come First
Nestled among towering pine and oak trees in East Central Texas, Fowl Acres Farm is dedicated to producing honey as pure as the land it comes from. We believe in doing things the right way—putting our bees' needs first. Our honey is more than just a product; it’s a testament to the care and respect we have for our environment and our buzzing partners.
Artisanal Craftsmanship
Our honey is raw, organic, unfiltered, and never heated, preserving the natural enzymes and flavors that make each harvest truly unique. We micro-batch our honey per apiary, ensuring that every jar reflects the distinct floral notes of the region it was produced in.
Sustainable Beekeeping
Our honey bees are an integral part of our family farm. We prioritize their health and well-being, ensuring that every jar of honey is not only delicious but also produced with sustainability in mind. We only harvest excess honey from our colonies, leaving our bees plenty of food to nourish them through each season. With access to fields of wildflowers and local crops to pollinate, our bees thrive. All of our colonies are carefully managed by professional beekeepers.
Treatment-Free Beekeeping
We employ Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices to prevent diseases and pests without using harmful chemicals. By focusing on low-risk methods such as regular colony maintenance, mechanical, and biological interventions, we ensure our hives remain healthy.

Creamed Honey: Our smooth, spreadable creamed honey is created by crystallizing honey with controlled sugar granules, giving it a smooth, butter-like texture. Perfect for adding a touch of sweetness to your morning routine.
Infused and Flavored Honeys: Our raw honey is steeped over a period of 4-6 weeks to create a variety of flavor-infused honeys like Texas Pecan Coffee, Texas Chile Pequin (Hot Honey), Cinnamon, and Cardamom.
Fun Facts
•Honey is Unique! Each hive produces honey with a wide range of colors and flavors, determined by the floral source of the nectar. Spring honey is generally lighter with delicate floral notes, while fall honeys are usually darker with hints of molasses.
•Is Honey Bee Barf? Technically, yes. Foraging bees collect nectar and regurgitate it to other bees in a process called trophallaxis, adding enzymes each time that transform it into honey.
•Real Honey Crystallizes: Crystallization is a natural process, indicating that honey is raw and unpasteurized. Crystallized honey is safe to eat or can be gently re-liquefied by placing the jar in warm water. Never microwave honey!
•Honey Safety: Honey should never be given to children under 1 year of age due to the risk of infant botulism.
